Deschamps Defends Mbappé, Rejects 'Dictator' Claims

France head coach Didier Deschamps has strongly defended captain Kylian Mbappé, dismissing suggestions that the forward dominates the national team.

Speaking about Mbappé's leadership, Deschamps said the public perception of the French star is far from reality.

"You guys make Kylian Mbappé seem like a dictator... the reality is the opposite."

The France manager insisted that Mbappé has consistently shown maturity and earned the respect of his teammates through his actions and leadership.

"His public image does not reflect reality at all. Kylian has always been mature, and the whole team follows him."

Deschamps also expressed his full confidence in Mbappé as captain, praising his ability to represent the squad both on and off the pitch.

"I am so happy to have Kylian as captain. Whenever he speaks on and off the pitch, he represents the whole group."

The comments come amid ongoing public discussions about Mbappé's influence within the French national team. Deschamps' remarks reaffirm his belief that the Real Madrid forward remains the right leader for Les Bleus, both on the field and in the dressing room.
