SpaceX Moves Bitcoin for the First Time in Six Months, But Still Holds Over $1.16 Billion in BTC

SpaceX has reportedly moved Bitcoin for the first time in six months after blockchain analytics platform Arkham Intelligence detected an approximately 0.88 BTC test transaction from a wallet tagged as belonging to the company.

The transaction involved a small amount of Bitcoin being sent from one tagged SpaceX wallet to another, sparking speculation across the crypto community about whether the company could be preparing for larger on-chain activity.

Despite the transfer, the wallet still holds approximately 18,712 BTC, valued at around $1.16 billion based on current market prices. This suggests the transaction was likely a routine wallet test or internal movement rather than a large-scale sale.

Neither SpaceX nor Elon Musk has publicly commented on the purpose of the transaction. As a result, there is no confirmation that the company intends to sell or move a significant portion of its Bitcoin holdings.

Given Elon Musk's influence on the cryptocurrency market, even small wallet movements involving Tesla or SpaceX often attract significant attention from investors and analysts.

Do you think this was simply a routine wallet test, or could SpaceX be preparing for a larger Bitcoin transaction? Share your thoughts in the comments.
