Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed that global music icon Rihanna remains the international artiste he would most love to collaborate with, describing the Barbadian singer as his dream musical partner despite admitting that the opportunity may not come anytime soon.

The award-winning singer made the revelation during a live interview on Twitch with content creator @Theboyfromojo, where he spoke about his career, international collaborations, and the artists he still hopes to work with. When asked which global star tops his collaboration wishlist, Davido did not hesitate to mention Rihanna.

According to Davido, he believes the two of them would create incredible music together, but acknowledged that Rihanna's priorities have changed over the years. He noted that the Grammy-winning singer is now heavily focused on building her business empire, particularly through Fenty Beauty and her fashion ventures, leaving little room for music in recent years.

Although Rihanna has stayed away from releasing a full studio album since 2016's Anti, fans around the world continue to hope for her return to music.
