Funke Akindele Unveils Star Studded Cast for New Movie “The Four”

Nollywood filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele has announced the cast of her latest movie, The Four: No One Fights Alone, ahead of its scheduled global cinema release on December 11, 2026.

The upcoming production brings together a notable mix of actors, musicians and entertainment personalities, including Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), Bisola Aiyeola, Chioma Akpotha, Waje, Lateef Adedimeji, Timini Egbuson and Akindele herself.

The film will also feature four former Big Brother Naija housemates, adding another layer of interest to an already star-studded cast.

According to reports surrounding the announcement, The Four follows a story centred on four women who come together to protect a young man's future, setting the stage for a drama built around friendship, loyalty and difficult choices.

The movie is being produced by Funke Akindele Network (FAAN) and distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, with the production positioned as one of the major Nigerian cinema releases expected towards the end of the year.

Akindele's announcement has already generated attention across Nigeria's entertainment space, particularly because of the combination of established Nollywood names and popular younger personalities in the cast.

With its December release date now confirmed, movie lovers will have to wait a few more months to see how the new ensemble performs on screen.
